Aesthetic Constant is an invite-only, fully on-chain series that explores relationship on the blockchain.

Token holders can invite new addresses to mint, and receive half the mint fee. There is no limit to the number of invites that can be sent, control of the final edition size rests with the minters.

Outputs are initially generated from the wallet addresses of the inviter and invitee. When a piece is transferred or sold on the secondary market, its appearance will shift based on the wallet addresses of the buyer and seller.

The gaits were captured from friends of the artist in Montreal. Participants were filmed walking on a treadmill, and this footage was processed using machine learning to isolate points on the body. Seven frames of pose data were extracted, and looped to form walk cycles. For each walk cycle, the data is under one kilobyte, allowing this uniquely human quality to be stored on the blockchain. There are 35 unique gaits stored on the contract.

The outputs are animated SVGs, generated on-chain. Each output contains two gaits, which are selected using values derived from the wallet addresses of the inviter and invitee. When more than two figures are visible, the central gaits are interpolations of the left- and right-most gaits.

You must hold an Aesthetic Constant token to be eligible to invite. Connect with the wallet that holds your token, and the mint and invite fields will become available.

There is no limit to the number of invites that you can send, but each address can only be invited once. Invited minters can also send unlimited invites to other addresses. Control of final edition size rests with the minters.

There is no limit to the number of tokens you can mint, but tokens minted from the same inviter / invitee pair will look the same.

This project is fully on-chain, with no external dependencies. The gait information is stored on-chain, and the SVGs are generated on-chain through three separate render contracts. Minting contract address is 0xddd65451aff1fb00d8c847587e5b881b1318af62. On-Chain Checker gives it a 5/5 rating.
